Hi,

We are using Sahi testing tool for our application and it is helping us a lot. But there is one issue which is creating problem and without resolving it we an't complete our teting cycle.
The issue is with showModalDialog javascript which works fine without Sahi but with Sahi it is creating problem. Our application opens in Model window and there is some other links in application which also open in model window. But with sahi we are not able to open the other links from the application and Sahi try to open the links in current modal window.
Can you please tell us how to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,
Chandrashekhar

    Hi Chandrashekhar,

Can you post the URL of the application and send us across the screen shot.

Let me know if the Model window keeps on loading or it gets stuck inbetween.

Kindly give us some more inputs regarding the issue.

    Regards
    Sumitra
  • Hi Sumitra,
    Thanks for the reply.
Actually the problem is with the session.
We have implemented SSO in our application and I am not able to pass SSO session in new Modal window when sahi is active.
To pass the session I must include our domain name in Bypass proxy settings.
If I set the proxy, our application works fine but Sahi Controller window doesn't get open on double click event and
If I remove the proxy setting modal window doesn't get open through our application.

This is wrong. If you do this, you are essentially not using Sahi. I would suggest you email support@sahi.co.in with your problem. We will set up an online meeting with you to see what your problem is and resolve it.
