Hello all,

I have some issues to get the controller...

I did the procedure on the using.htm and I tried the proposed solution in the problem.htm,
but nothing happen when I do ALT or SHIFT + DBLCLICK.

Note that I didn't find the key DBLCLICK on my keyboard :) . Just Kidding!

Can someone help me?

Thanks,
Isabelle

  • Try CTRL + ALT + double click.

I already tried that, without any results...

    Another idea?
  • Did you configure the web browser to use Sahi as a proxy?
  • isagltisaglt Members
    Yes...

I follow the instruction on the Sahi help files.

    Address: Localhost
    Port: 9999
  • The only other thing I can think of is that the version of Java on your machine is less than 1.4.

This is not a good new... :(

The Java version installed on my station is 1.6.

I don't know what to do...
  • Did you restart your browser? Can you browse webpages while it is set to use Sahi as the proxy?

And you are definately pressing down CTRL and ALT at the same time while double-clicking?

    Yes is my answer...

But I think my port is closed... :/
  • i'm using 1.6.. nothing's wrong with mine...

    you should
    1. run sahi.bat in (../sahi/bin folder)
    2. then wait for the instruction on the command prompt that say's like (CTRL and ALT double click.....)
    3. launch a browser (i use firefox coz IE doesnt work for me, it works but dont like the output) set the needed settings like address: localhost port: 9999, save...
    4. then type the url in the address bar, when the page is up, CTRL and ALT double click..

this is what im doing.... hope it will work in your side

Use CTRL-SHIFT-R to reload the page. That will make sure your browser cache is cleared for your site.

    See last reply from Narayan.
  • Controller window is not coming up on visits to URLs other than google.co.in
Tried CTRL-SHIFT-R to reload the page. Does not work. Please help

Only reason that I know for this behavior is that pages you are accessing are being served from browser cache. Delete temporary files / caches from the browser and try again.
  • Tried deleting temp files and browser cache. Still the controller comes up only from google.co.in only
Can you provide specific steps to solve this problem? Is it a limitation of the version which is provided on the site?

No. I am using it to test my application which surely not google :)
