IE 6 - Are there any issues with Sahi working with IE 6?

Our dev team has been using Sahi with FireFox as a POC. The are telling me that it doesn't work with IE 6, but I have a hard time believing that. Are there any problems with the tool working on IE6?

Thanks & Regards,

  • I've checked it out and there are some bugs in using Sahi with IE6.

Sahi will work with IE6, but it's might be more pain than it is worth.
  • StringyLow,

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe it's just me, but I can't find a way to search for discussions involving IE on the site. Am I missing something or do I just have to search all the pages for IE discussions?

    StringyLow,
Could you report the bugs you see with IE6? Do you think they are major bugs?
  • Sure. We are going to run our scripts initially with firefox, but will try IE6 as soon as we have the bandwidth.
  • Yes, I think there are major bugs with Sahi and IE6 that make Sahi close to unusable.

I'll file some bugs on what I've seen.
  • For example, the accessor is not the same for textboxes, on internet explorer, the accessor is for example _cell(table(33),5,0) although it is _textbox("nameofthetextbox") in firefox, much more natural !
