HTTPS site – Certificate popup blocker

Hi,

Using Browser – IE 7, I am testing an HTTPS application where in created certificate and placed under the Folder – “Certs “.

NOTE that regarding this testing HTTPS application following settings have also made under IE Browser
1. Added application as TRUSTED Site
2. Under Pop-up Blocker Settings ; have added the application address to allow access with Filter Level set to – “Low: Allow pop-ups from secure sites”

Each time when I run Sahi and access application, would give me popup blocker telling the below Message –
“To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. Click here for options….”

Though the Certificate is present for the application, each time accessing the application would show the Certificate pop-up blocker.

Can anyone tell me how to avoid this?

Thanks,
Nanda

  • Hi Narayan,

As per to the Special URL mentioned in the vedio - "sahi.example.com/_s_/dyn/SSLManager" ; accessed the same and installed all Certificates that are required.

Even after doing this i would still get the Popup blocker when i access the testing HTTPS application.

    Thanks,
    Nanda.
  • Hi Narayan ,
I tried the steps on the video , still i get the pop up error
  • I am too facing this problem.. Kindly reply any one.
  • Hi gopikannan,

Could you please check if you have turned off the popup blocker? ie( Launch IE browser>>Tools>> Popup blocker >> Click turn off popup blocker)

Also, try accepting the certificates again by following the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPZH5L-jkRA

Check if this solves your issue.
