I dont think its only a problem on Chrome and Safari, It will be even on firefox. But IE you can overcome by accepting "Display security warning" .
If i have to expalin you this:
Go through carefully : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPZH5L-jkRA
Fix this issue on IE, Sahi controller will start working on rest of the browsers.
1. launch IE and navigate to your application.
2. Accept security certificate.
3. Go to "https://172.31.5.92/_s_/dyn/SSLManager"
4. Connect to your application form hear and add a certificate.
5. Now launch back you application, warning would not appear.
6. You can close and open any browsers any number of times. Sahi controller will launch on all of them.
Unable to get to website in IE (see post above step1)
Doesn't work in Firefox either at same place.
Chrome works with no problem (all other certificates have a red dot in SSL Manager)
When settings the connection fill in the HTTP Proxy Settings only. Do NOT flll in the "Secure" line.
for chrome or chromium-browser it might help to manually save the security exceptions. Download the certificates and then add them to your sytem with certutil http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/certutil.html
