Launching new browsers

Hi,

I want to run a script in one browser and mean while during the script execution, I want to launch another browser and verify some contents in that browser and return back to the first browser and continue the script.

Is it possible with Sahi???

    Interesting requirement.
    1) Are they 2 instances of the same program (say firefox) or do you want to open a firefox window from IE?
    2) Does it matter if they are in the same session? (the logged in user may be the same.)
    If they are 2 instances of the same browser and it does not matter if the sessions are same, then it is possible out of the box in Sahi. Other combinations can be done with some effort.

    Any browser is ok. Means, it should support the following
    Open IE from IE browser
    IE from Firefox,
    FF from IE
    FF from FF
    Scenario1: Assume that I am logged in as user1 in IE browser, at some point in the script I need to login as some other user user2 and verify some content there and return back to the first browser (user1)
    Note: The second browser should open in another new window. (not in another tab)

    Scenario2: Assume that the user1 is logged in IE browser and the script is running on it .We have created a new user in the application and it will send an email to the logged in user nad newly created user.
    So here we need to verify that the email is received by both the users

    So, this can be done by launching a new browser and connecting to webmail and verifying that a new email with the required content is received. This exercise should be done for both the users.

    Then we should return back to the old browser (in which user1 is logged in ) and cntinue the script execution.

    i also want to open new browser from current browser and check some point in new browser after checking i want to close new browser and come back to current browser.

    is it possible

    Even I need a solution for the same kind of scenario's in Sahi.. Could some one please provide workaround for this?
