Ajax web appilcation not working propertly with sahi proxy setting

Hello,
Under normal connection setting on IE, web application works just fine. But with the sahi proxy setting (localhost, 9999 stuff), the web application somewhat works but apparently a specific function is not working. This web application is largely made by ajax. However, one thing weird is that under any connection settings (normal and sahi proxy setting), on Firefox, everything works just fine. A specific action which does not work on IE with proxy setting works just fine in Firefox. Since I need to test the web app on IE, I need to solve this issue. Any help would be really appreciated.
