  Hi gaveyom, I think you need to give more explanation on following points
  - Why your application works only in IE
  - Are you using any plugin with your application?
  - Does sahi console give any error.
  - try looking into logs
  - Try looking if a simple website like google.com works when proxy is switched on etc.

  I am able to open your site http://apeamcet.nic.in using sahi.
  I simply changed proxy and execute a simple script to connect to URL and it works fine.

  As per your requirement I open it in IE only through SAHI only. and I follow the normal steps as SAHI suggest.

  yes, we can open in IE using sahi, but this is happening sometimes only
  but sometimes it is not able to open in IE getting error
  
  this issues is facing lot of folks, in prior post u can find this issue
  
  pls let me know how to overcome this issue if u know

  Hi Gaveyom,
  
  It looks like issue with the website, which does not open every time like other gov sites.
  So you can write a hack for this, if the page is not open then try to reload the page using
  _navigateTo("website address",forceReload);
  
  you can use try and catch for this. but at my setup, i tried to open the site 10 times and it opens every time.

  this problem is not with site, the main problem is with sahi configuration with IE
  
  when i open IE from sahi dashboard it displaying error like
  ---"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"---
  
  but some times sahi working in IE
  
  Please let me know the solution for this.

  Even i am facing the same problem with IE8 on Win XP SP3 using Sahi 5.1.0 as well as with Sahi 5.0.5 but IE8 opens correctly with Sahi 4.5.2. My application works on any browser but I want to test mandatorily on IE8
  
  'Automatically detect settings' in IE under connections is in turned off state
  
  Steps:
  1. Click on IE icon from sahi dashboard
  2. Enter the url in Start URL field and click on Go button
  "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" is displayed and the issue is observed continuously hence IE8 never works with Sahi? Please Sggest
