Memory leakage issue with IE while using sahi's latest version.

Hi,

While using sahi's latest version with IE8 or IE9 we found memory leakage issue. Its working fine with FireFox but while using with IE after execution of 20 or 30 minutes performance monitor displays that only IE browser consumes 2.5 GB of memory.

I dont know either it is known issue or it is having any workaround....Can anyone help with this?


I am using Sahi's latest version released on 25th may and Browser is IE9.

    I am using Sahi's latest version sahi_v35_20110719.

    I too faced same memory leak issue in IE8 & IE9. My script is working fine in IE6.
    Can any one help me resolve this issue.

    I'm interested in this too!

    I didn't tried to run my tests on other browsers (the application is made for IE8 and IE9), but if I try to run a test for several times, after 10~30 minutes runing, the tests freezes and sometimes even the whole computer, due to high memory usage by IE (more than 2 GB).

    Use Google Chrome frame in IE for faster access. That will solve all the problem.

    You can install this extension to IE by opening chromeframe page in IE and click on install.

    Please let me know for any further help.

    What if I want to test it in IE?

    If I do this way, it would be easier to just test it in Google Chrome.

    It is just an accelerator for IE to identify the objects. You are still be testing it out in IE. Testing in IE with Chromeframe is not equal to directly testing it in Google Chrome browsers. There are many difference if you look into their architectures.
