Save an excel file using SAHI

Hi,
I did a quick search could not find a solution. hence posting, if already been posted point me to the right thread.
My application involves exporting data to excel (from my app). I need to save the same excel. I tried creating a javascript file using activexobject(came to know that Rhino engine doesnot support activex). So is there any way in which i can save the excel file that my AUT opens as part of the functionality. I dont have exposure to JAVA
. So pleas can anybody suggest me a way in which i can save the excel file by calling a javascript file ?
