Not able to capture Alert From webpage

HI,
i am trying to capture the java script alert pop-up coming from the webpage.I am unable to capture it while recording .even i tried hovering mouse over the pop up window but in vein.
Please help me in this regard.
OS:XP sevice pack 3
Browser:IE 8

Thanks it works fine. One issue is that we can't see the alert during playback.
Could you help me out in performing the action on the Alert.Its a dialog so to select ok or cancel buttons.
