  • Hi Jasmine,

    By default the scripts are been stored in <sahi-home>/userdata/scripts folder. If you want to change the path then you can change it in userdata.properties.

    You will have to change the "scripts.dir" in userdata.properties by navigating to <sahi-home>/userdata/config/userdata.properties:

    Change scripts.dir=bin;

    Restart Sahi. You should be able to run your suite file from bin now.

    Usage of testrunner.bat is: testrunner.bat ../bin/demo.suite http://sahi.co.in/demo/ firefox6.

    Let me know if you face any problem.

  • Hi Sumitra,

    I am trying to test the login screen of a site having 3 fields
    1. Domain(a drop down box with 2 options)
    2. Login
    3.Password

    My Excel is called Book.xlsx and is on my desktop. Its got a format like:-
    Domain Login Password
    APX igarten test
    AMG jholmes test
    APX rnadal test

    Heres my script

    function login($domain, $login, $password)
    {
    _setSelected(_select("ddlDomain"), $domain);
    _setValue(_textbox("txtLogin"), $login);
    _setValue(_password("txtDomainPassword"), $password);
    _click(_submit("Login"));
    _click(_link("Log Out"));

    var db = _getDB("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver", "jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb)}; DBQ=C:\\Documents and Settings\\iqureshi\\Desktop\\Book.xlsx;readOnly=false", "", "");
    $rs = db.select("select * from [Sheet1$]");
    for(var $i=0; $i<$rs.length; $i++)
    {
    login($rs[$i]["Domain"], $rs[$i]["Login"], $rs[$i]["Password"],
    ""+parse($rs[$i]["Domain"]);
    }
    }

    but when I execute it, I get a
    FAILURE
    Shutting down

    and the error the system shows is missing bracket ), even though its not actually missing.....

    Please help

    Thanks in advance

    Jasmine

    I cant figure out the issue.
  • Hi Jasmine,

    Try the following script,
    function login($domain, $login, $password)
    {
    _setSelected(_select("ddlDomain"), $domain);
    _setValue(_textbox("txtLogin"), $login);
    _setValue(_password("txtDomainPassword"), $password);
    _click(_submit("Login"));
    _click(_link("Log Out"));
    }

    var db = _getDB("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver", "jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb)}; DBQ=C:\\Documents and Settings\\iqureshi\\Desktop\\Book.xlsx;readOnly=false", "", "");
    $rs = db.select("select * from [Sheet1$]");
    for(var $i=0; $i<$rs.length; $i++)
    {
        login($rs[$i]["Domain"], $rs[$i]["Login"], $rs[$i]["Password"]);
    }

    The function defined should have the same number of parameter's that the function declaration has.

    let us know if the problem persists.

    Theeran.
