Hi All,
If I run a same suite in different browsers, ie (if I am executing same suite in IE8 and Firefox using a same batch file, in logs how can I recognize the results? How I will recognize which is the result of IE and which is the result of Firefox? My batch file will be like this.

java -cp C:/sahi/lib/ant-sahi.jar net.sf.sahi.test.TestRunner -test C:/MyWorks/4PFsahi/Scripts/Suites/testSuite.suite -browserType ie -baseURL http://www.google.co.in -threads 1
java -cp C:/sahi/lib/ant-sahi.jar net.sf.sahi.test.TestRunner -test C:/MyWorks/4PFsahi/Scripts/Suites/testSuite.suite -browserType firefox -baseURL http://www.google.co.in -threads 1

    Hi SP,

    1) Sahi Pro gives a very detailed log of each run along with browser type used.
    2) If using the open source version, you can add
    -htmlLog true -htmlLogDir ie_logs
    (or ff_logs) as parameters to TestRunner

    Thanks Naryan.
    The issue is resolved now in batch file. But I cannot use htmlLog nd htmlLogDir in ant scripts.
    <sahi suite="C:/MyWorks/4PFsahi/Scripts/Suites/searchRedesign.suite"
    browserType="ie"
    baseurl="${urlbase}"
    sahihost="localhost"
    sahiport="9999"
    failureproperty="sahi.failed"
    haltonfailure="false"
    threads="1"
    htmlLog="true"
    htmlLogDir="C:/MyWorks/4PFsahi/Logs/playback/IE_Results_SearchRedesign">
    </sahi>

    When I try using this i am getting an error in prompt like this

    BUILD FAILED
    C:\MyWorks\4PFsahi\AntFiles\build.xml:21: sahi doesn't support the "htmlLog" attribute

  • Hi SP,

    Use:
    <sahi suite="C:/MyWorks/4PFsahi/Scripts/Suites/searchRedesign.suite"
                          browserType="ie"
                          baseurl="${urlbase}"
                          sahihost="localhost"
                          sahiport="9999"
                          failureproperty="sahi.failed"
                          haltonfailure="false"
                          threads="1">
                  <report type="html" logdir="myPath"/>
    </sahi>

    Also, look at this URL:
