Text of the links are not available when using Chrome

I'm using Java version of Sahi.
In my SUT there is dropdown list which contains links.
I have created code which will click the text of the link.
If I'm using FF there is no problem to click the link.
But when I'm using Chrome system doesn't find the text of the link.
If I change the code so that Chrome should find the ID of the link, then there is no problem.
Problem is that ID is dynamic, so I have to be able to verify from the text the correct link is clicked.
