Not able to record & playback pop up boxes

Hello, In Java web application we have couple of client side validations.Depends on business use case(validation) end user see either confirm box, alert box, or prompt box. My requirement is I would like to record and playback these scenarios using sahi open source.
Unfortunately am not able to record and playback as well. Can any one please advise me? I would really appreciate if you provide me any example.
