How to instantiate a creation action as soon as an item is drag n dropped?

1. Drag and drop an item to specific place in a webpage
2. As soon as we drop the item user will be asked to enter name and other details
I'm able to drag and drop but not able to instantiate create action.
So how to handle this case?
