Sahi with Avast 2014 on localhost

Since Avast went to 2014 version when working with (XAMPP), i have to do the following to read localhost
1- Deactivate Avast (for 10 minutes)
2- Reach localhost
3- Reactivate promptly Avast
Then I can browse correctly.

I did not have to do this with previous version of Avast.
I look like Avast blocks some authorization that Sahi asks.

I do not know where to act : in Sahi or Avast to directly make Sahi access localhost.

Also, when I add the port 9999 for Web in Avast, the http://sahi.example.com/_s_/dyn/Driver_initialized?browserType=firefox page is no more reachable.

    Hi Pachat,
Have you tried changing the port of Avast from 9999?

    Regards.
  • As far as I understand, Avast does not use 9999.
But it has a special parameter HTTP Port for Network redirection with
    80,81,82,8080,etc.
As I said, if I add 9999, the Driver_initialized page is not reachable.
So, I keep the default port list.

To be able to access http://localhost, I a have to deactivate Avast for a second.
I suppose that a communication between Avast and the Sahi proxy can then be established and I can reactivate Avast to be able to work locally with Avast.

This deactivation / reactivation of Avast, has only to be done once per Windows session.
