_click(_tableHeader(...)) does not work in IE8, any workaround?

I am using the latest Open Source version v44 (04/29/2013). I found that the code "_click(_tableHeader(...))" does not work in IE8 but works well in Firefox and Chrome. This might be a bug. I am wondering if there is any workaround for me before it is fixed?
