Popup problem

edited November -1 in Sahi - Open Source
Hi
I test my web-application and have a problem.
I use IE browser 6.0.

There is a pop-up in some place, which has 2 buttons: "OK" nad "CANCEL".

I want to click "OK" button. After clicking this button, the additional window of browser is opened.

When i try to do this in Sahi, the additional browser isn't opened.

I use this code, when pop-up appears:

_expectConfirm("Are you sure...some text?", true);

Thanks
adamo

  • Two things to try:

    Place '_popup(<popupName>).' in front of commands.

    For _click(_button(<identifier>) ); command use ("buttonID") instead of ("OK")
    "OK" is usually the "value" of the button.

    Together you might have:

    _popup("SeeRest")._click(_button("buttonOK") );

    Good luck!

  • Hi Adamo,

    If its actually a pop-up, do as suggested by RR, but if its a browser confirmation dialog box with "OK", "Cancel" options than you have to place
    _expectConfirm("Are you sure...some text?", true);
    just before the button click that triggers the dialog box.
    eg. _click(_byId("myButton")); triggers the dialog than it should be like:
    _expectConfirm("Are you sure...some text?", true);
    _click(_byId("myButton"));

    And remember you wont be able to see the dialog box when the script runs. It will be handled silently by sahi at proxy level (it will send the required response, true in this case, through proxy but wont display the dialog box).

    Regards,
    Pankaj.
