Select TEXT of Different Element types

Hi Folks!
i need certain text to be selected and then click on a button which will generate Xml file in the backend with FILE NAME AS THE TEXT SELECTED before clicking on the BUTTON.
With Sahi m facing difficulty that although we select the Text while recording it neglects the selecting and wrong name Files get extracted.
ONLY SELECTING THE TEXT can help us a lot.

For example: I have an Element "_link("Firm Level")".
Some elements are type "_span("Accounts")".
Just Help me Select this element using Sahi.
