Some popups not recorded/recognised by Sahi

Hi ,
I'm recording a flow. if I don't enter mandatory fields I will get a pop-up saying " Please Enter a Project Name " with OK button.
Sahi is not recording /recognizing this pop-up.
the pop-up name is : ' Microsoft Internet Explorer ' a cross mark at corner and a ' OK ' button.
I want to add an Assert to verify the text message in the pop-up and click operation on the OK button.
As pop-up is not being recognized I'm not able to do anything. I think popup is a JSP pop-up ( not sure )
Please help on this.
I'm working on OS - XP , IE version 6.0.2...
