Opera problems

Hi,

I just started using Sahi and am liking it a lot
I do have need to test for all the supported browsers. Mostly all are working fine, however, Opera is spotty and finding some interesting happenings.

Firstly, when I Alt-dbl-click to open up the controller, it's in a tab that I can't move out of the plain of the main window (as you can do with other browsers).

Secondly, after recording a test script (normally in firefox), I correctly get an Opera window clicking the icon in the Dashboard:
- click Playback
- select the script File
- type in the Start URL and click select.
- Here is the first interesting thing, I get a pop-up about a pop-up being blocked..
however, the page that I'm going to does not generate a pop-up.. so something from Sahi?

- The first time that I click Play, it always tells me to open a new controller window
- So, cancel out the controller and Alt-Dbl-click
- click Playback
- select the script File
- type in the Start URL and click select.
- Next interesting thing: the controller form resets..
- goes back to the default Record
- select Playback, those entries (file/start_url) are gone.

- reselecting File, WITHOUT inputting Start URL, and clicking Play, actually works.

Wanted to report these occurrences and see if there's any knowledge of them; anyway to fix..?

Hi Bagsmode.

I am having similar issues to you, but I have found a solution to one of your issues where the Sahi Controller opens as a tab and not a Window.

This is a simple fix, in Opera, goto:

Tools>Preferences>Advanced>Tabs>Additionald Tab Options>check "Open Windows instead of tabs"

However, I too am having issues setting the start URL. The controller just refreshes, and nothing gets set.

Does anybody else know whats going on?

Don't know GHalls. Seems as though as long as there's a solution, regardless if it's hacky, they're of the mind-set "if it works, it works".
