alert messages/ alert pop ups are not recording for JSP files

I tried to record alert pop up's and alert messages using sahi . Unfortunately scripts are not recorded. alert pop up was developed using JSP . I tried the same for the GWT page and I was able to record. Please tel me the way to record this for JSP files.
