Unable to capture value from listbox of child window..

I am trying to capture selected value from listbox using the following code..
var $x=_popup("Select_Recipients")._getSelectedText(_select("/recipType/"));
_log($x);
but it's giving error as follows..........
TypeError: Cannot call method "_getSelectedText" of undefined
Plz can any one suggest me..

Could you try using _selectWindow(popupId) API and check if this solves your issue.
ie _selectWindow("Select_Recipients");
var $x=_getSelectedText(_select("/recipType/"));
_log($x);
