Hi,

When i browse to my testing application's base URL, it asks me for my Windows login credentials.

But when try to access the same URL after i run the Sahi Proxy, i get the below error:

Server Error in 'XYZ' Application.
Access is denied.
Description: An error occurred while accessing the resources required to serve this request. The server may not be configured for access to the requested URL.

Error message 401.2.: Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration. Verify that you have permission to view this directory or page based on the credentials you supplied and the authentication methods enabled on the Web server. Contact the Web server's administrator for additional assistance.

How can i get rid of this error. If i can overcome this then i only i can proceed, please help or give me some hint.

  • Hi,

Isn't there any "Remember my Password" kind of checkbox on the credentials window? that u can check so that it isn't asked again. I know you must have checked that but thats what i can think of right now. Or you can ask your system admin for a way out.

    Regards,
    Pankaj.
  • Hi,
We test an application that requires windows LDAP authentication for different users. But while running the application through sahi, it takes the default windows login without prompting for user name and password.

    Please provide a solution.
  • Hi,

Sahi uses the windows logged in user credentials by default and if the user is not authorised, it asks for a username and password once. Once logged in you can't log out in the same session of Sahi. You need to restart Sahi if you want to log in as different user.

    Thanks,
    Vivek
