How to select a field inturn which populates other fields

Hi,
I have been a satisfied user of SAHI since i am using.Just before, I came across an issue which Iam not able to tackle.The issue is like this -

In our application, in the grid ,if I select the field from a drop down, automatically coressponding featuers populate in the rest of the fields accordingly.Its happening when I do it manually.But when I tried it with SAHI , the item in drop down is getting selected but, featuers are not populating in the rest of the fields.The featuers field are displaying empty.

_click(_cell("Please Select[1]"));
_setSelected(_select(1), "4G");

Can, you suggest me solution for the same.

Hi Sumitra,

I tried by changing "click" to "mousedown" but in vain. The code which I have mentioned earlier works fine, it select the item from the list,but the other fields are not populated.(but the same works fine if done manually.

I want to confirm you that its not excatly the dropdown list, but it works as the dropdown list.

The above mentioned is the pattern of Grid.
Once I click on C, a list is displayed as a dropdown list, if any Item is selected from the list, all the columns A,B,D are populated accordingly.

The url remains same even after items are added into the grid.

Hi Suhail,

Ctrl+Hover on the dropdown list and check what the dropdown list is been identified as by the Controller?

Could you check _setSelected(_select(1), "4G"); in the dropdown list selected is been selected correctly or not?

Also, if it is a custom dropdown then you will have to perform click to select the item from the list. Therefore,_setSelected() is not the correct way .

For time being I have used ,other existing functionality to add the featuers .
I will look into this issue later.

Hi

There is a button "Search" on the page. Earlier I it was working fine, just by using "_click", I was able to click on it.But now, its not happening.Iam able to click on it manually.Can anyone let me know, what may be the resaon for this.
