Unable to establish the communication with a WebServer
Hi,
When I'am using Sahi for my tests, an authentication page with login and password, my page is unable to communicate with a webserver (running on a virtual machine) for the response.
After a while, a popup appears and indicates "HTTP Error: 502".
When I'm not using Sahi, I don't encounter this issue.
It's perhaps with the "ext.http.both.proxy.bypass_hosts" option related.
But I take care on this as it's configured like this :
ext.http.both.proxy.bypass_hosts=localhost|127.0.0.1|10.10.100.40
In fact, the WebServer is on 127.0.0.1
I have missed something else somewhere ?
Thanks for your help !

Can you try using your Virtual Machine's name instead of localhost and check if it works fine?

I have tried out what you said, but it doesn't work.
After a talk with a developer, I have more precision on how the page establishes the connexion with the webserver : The page opens an HTML communication with the webserver which never ends, because we need the server to push data toward the page at any time. So the page displays updated information in real time, without the page needs ask for them.
This communication is established on a specific url. This is this url to be excluded from the proxy, perhaps.
On the virtual machine, the webserver is Apache.
In the httpd.conf file of Apache, I have the following lines regarding my issue :
ProxyPass /my_channel url-1:20400
ProxyPassReverse /my_channel url-2:20400
Do you have any more precise idea on what I need to write for ext.http.both.proxy.bypass_hosts ?
Thanks !
Jean-Marc
Kindly follow the steps below:
Launch FF >> Click Tools >> Options >> Advanced tab >> Network >> Settings >> Send the screen shot of this connection setting to support@sahi.co.in with Sahi and with out Sahi.
