Error: The parameter passed to _click was not found on the browser

I am doing advance search option tab, when you click on same button it will open,
1. Select an option dropdown menu with 3 options Assigned to Groups, Assigned to user, Risk level
2. If i select Risk level, it will open anaother dropdown option beside to risk level as High, critical, medium,low
3. If i select risk level - Low and click on search button sahi does not record correctly, getting following error

"_click(_div("Risk Level"));
Error: The parameter passed to _click was not found on the browser"

Followimg is script

1 _click(_link("Asset Management"));
2 _click(_div("x-tool x-tool-toggle"));
3 _click(_button("Add Search Criteria"));
4 _click(_div("Risk Level"));
5 _click(_div("Low[9]"));
6 _click(_button("Search"));

Hi Amol Datar,

According to the above script, after _click(_button("Add Search Criteria")); it has to click on the dropdown to select Risk Level option.

You will have to add click of dropdown action before selecting Risk Level.

Kindly, Ctrl+Hover on the Dropdown and perform click action and add it in the script before selecting the Risk Level option.

Can you post the URL?

Also, try using _setSelected(element, option_identifier, isMultiple); API

Here is an example to select the option in the dropdown.

_setSelected(_select("site"), "Forums");
_click(_link("Products & Services"));

Hi,

I am new user to sahi. I am trying to record the similar behaviour above stated.
After successfully loggin in, I have 3 panels,
1st left panel, I will click on "User" --> its successful
2nd middle panel, I will click on "User [1]" --> its successful
In 2nd middle panel, right clicking on "User [1]", will get a drow down "Add User" and "Delete User" list.
After clicking "Add User" i will populate the details.
Here recording is successful.

While play back, I am getting an error as stated below,

Error:
click(_link("Add User"));
Error: The parameter passed to _click was not found on the browser

Recorded Script:

_setValue(_textbox(0), "admin");
_setValue(_password(0), "password");
_click(_button("Login"));
_click(_span("Users"));
_click(_span("Users[1]"));
_click(_link("Add User"));
_setValue(_textbox("ext-comp-1001"), "RAA1");
_setValue(_password("ext-comp-1002"), "RAA1");
_click(_cell("Save"));
_click(_button("OK"));
_click(_div("Logoff"));

Please help me in how to run the PlayBack successfully.

Hi Harsha,

You will have to use :

_rightClick(el, combo); and then perform click on "Add User".

Note: _rightClick(el,combo); API is application specific.

Hi Harsha,

Rightclick can be performed only if an event is attached to it.

Here is an example:

http://www.zkoss.org/zkdemo/menu/context_menu

Here you can Rightclick on the image an you can select the option after the pop up.

_rightClick(_image("pVAQm"));
_mouseOver(_link("Group"));
_mouseOver(_link("Add to..."));
