Hi Narayan,

we are facing some issue while executing our auto. scripts on linux platform (Cent OS 5.2), we have prepared these scripts in win 7 machine.

but when we execute the scripts on linux, it starts executing pretty good way, but after sometime process gets very slow & then it went into broken state(where no process is being carried out further).

Can you please help me on this? we are using latest sahi version (25-5-2011), Using Firefox browser on linux & win 7 both

Thank you,

    Hi ashishbaraiya,

    Has your application changed recently?

Do you have any "Comet" like connections which are kept open?

    Regards
    Sumitra
  • No Sumitra,

There is no change in our application.

Actually we were using our application & executing sahi auto. scripts on win 7/XP system only, but now we have to meet our predefined requirement to setup whole environment on Linux system.

We have developed our small XML driven framework & using the same on linux system. (which works fine on windows system)

If you want to see then I can show you that behavior. Thanks for looking into it.

    Thanks,
    Ashish
  • As soon as I click on Play button in controller, it starts execution suddenly it slows down at any point & then after sometime it continue in improper flow of execution.

sometimes execution get stopped at certain stage.

    Hi Ashish,

We had encountered this issue with FF and Cent OS. It basically happens when google's safebrowsing kicks in after about 5-6 minutes and that is an HTTPS connection which remains open (because its certificate is not accepted + a bug in Sahi) and causes the browser to not react after sometime. I will check if the solution is already released, and if not we will send you a build with the fix. Could you please email support@sahi.co.in with this issue, so that we can track and get back to you? Are you using the Pro version or the open source version?

    Regards,
    Narayan
  • Ok Narayan,

As per your suggestion I have submitted that case (issue) to support@sahi.co.in. we are using sahi open source version right now.

Please tell me as soon as you come across the solution.

    Thanks,
    Ashish
