_prompt Retrieves null Sometimes

Sometimes when I do this:

var $Choice=(_prompt("(1) - Choice 1, (2) - Choice 2, (3) - Choice 3 "));

It retrieves me a null variable. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, is this a known/unknown issue of sahi or am I missing something?
