I am using SAHI for automating some of the web applications of our clients. It is such a nice experience using SAHI. I tried with many open source tools, but led to many issues? SAHI has loads of advantages while comparing with many other open source tools. It is easy to script. It has a wonderful list of API’s often met most of our requirements
Advantages that I saw in SAHI
• Easy to do data - driven testing using Excel
• Excellent feature to run multiple scripts as batch files
• Easily handle http and https
• Easy to do scripting
• Excellent list of API’s
• Easy to execute the created script using different web browsers
My suggestions to SAHI
• A better IDE for scripting rather than text pad
• Integration with some open source test management tools
